Currently, Australia’s dehumanising refugee policy is shrouded in secrecy to create fear and division in our communities.
Road to Refuge’s goal is to proactively shift the narrative to amplify the lived experiences of people seeking asylum and people from refugee backgrounds. If this sounds like you, we look forward to hearing from you and how you would like to be a part of the change.
Many organisations run entirely on people like you volunteering their time. This is a great way to support refugees, learn more about the issues they face and build enduring relationships. In addition, you can employ your specific skills or volunteer your time in any way needed.
Share a lived experience
In 2018, Road to Refuge will continue to prioritise and amplify the voices and perspectives of people from refugee backgrounds and people seeking asylum.
Why? Because Road to Refuge believes that when the people most affected are able to share their own stories and be leaders in the movement, change will happen.
